Trying to learn integration and storefront basics on my own rather than resign myself to Etsy Enslavement. That is no fun. What is fun is that I have actually been making good progress on my 1st round of commissions, hoping to drum up some word of mouth interest in my work. If anyone out there runs a fair commission agency and wants me to sign up, seriously hit me up. I very badly want to use this pregnancy and Covid as a good solid excuse to pivot to doing my art full time, but, as many of you know- that is vastly easier said than done. Any and all advice in that regard is welcome. in the meantime, it does feel nice just to finish the color blocking on my 1st round of paintings. Sure, there's plenty of detail work and layering yet to be done, but covering the canvasses always feels like a small victory. :P

Etsy can go straight to hell. You want 8 percent, and no marketing or advanced integration? I'm going to need a minimally functional help desk, at LEAST; for 8% plus fees. Get all the way out of here Etsy. Re-hire your IVR staff or crash and burn like the garbage you are. Spent hours on hold today trying to resolve a bug on their Auth end so i could literally give them money. Screw Etsy and the horse they rode in on. Shopify it is. Bastards. Absolute Bastards.
